PASTOR DAN KWAKU OWUSU-ANSAH (DMin)

Mid Ghana Union Conference Youth Director

I was born on February 21, 1961, at Jacobu, a town in the Ashanti region of Ghana, to an Adventist family (maternally). Baptized at age 16 (1977) whilst attending Agona-Ashanti SDA Secondary School. I worked as a non-professional teacher and a banker before entering the Seminary in 1987.  Married to a loving helpful wife, Doris who also hails from Jacobu. We are blessed with a son, Major M K. Owusu-Duah (of Ghana Army) and two daughters, Grace Owusu-Kwartemaa and Betty-Dale Owusu-Ansah and a foster son, Bismark (Junior). Have some grandchildren also.

Academically, have both BA in Religion (with Biology Minor) and MA in Religion (from Andrews University, ASWA Campus, Nigeria), and Doctor of Ministry in Missiology (with emphasis on Youth Participation in Mission, Adventist University of Africa, Kenya).

Joined the gospel ministry in 1991. Ordained in 1997 by Central Ghana Conference (CGC) and now hold ministerial credential from Mid Ghana Union Conference, formerly Northern Ghana Union Conference (NOGH) of SDA. Served for 34 years in active service in CGC and NOGH in various capacities as institutional chaplain, district pastor, church pastor, Conference Chaplaincy, Communication, Youth/Music, and Health Ministries/AAIM director. At the Union level have served as Chaplaincy, Health Ministries/AAIM, and Youth/Music director (for 11 years) with additional responsibility as a local church pastor.

My passion and commitment for youth ministries since infancy (from age 6 years as a Missionary Volunteer till now) gave me the privilege to serve as Adventist Youth Ministries director for about 18 years and 7 years as school chaplain. My marching orders centered on Ecclesiastes 9:10 and Colossians 2:23-25 are “For the love of Christ constraineth me” and “Doing my honest part” as a soldier and missionary for Christ.

PASTOR EPHRAIM JIDAUNA

Northern Nigeria Union Conference Youth Director

Pastor Ephraim Jidauna is a dedicated servant of God and a passionate leader in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. With a strong educational foundation in theology and a commitment to lifelong learning, he serves as the Youth Director at the Northern Nigeria Union Conference.

Education
Pastor Ephraim holds a degree in Theology from Babcock University. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Missiology from the Adventist University of Africa in Nairobi, Kenya, further equipping him for effective ministry and mission.

Family
Pastor Ephraim is blessed with a loving family. He is married and has two children, Tichiye and Tinai, whom he cherishes deeply.

Ministry and Service
As the Youth Director at the Northern Nigeria Union Conference, Pastor Ephraim is dedicated to empowering and mentoring young people in their faith journey. His passion for witnessing and sharing the Gospel is evident in his ministry, as he seeks to inspire others to deepen their relations.

MG Johnny Ogunji

Eastern Nigeria Union Conference Youth Director

Johnny Ogunji is an ordained Elder of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He has a Ph.D in Fisheries and Aquaculture from Humboldt University Berlin Germany in 2000. He became a Professor of Fish Nutrition/Aquaculture in 2008.  He got involved with the Adventist Youth Ministries as a child when the ministries were known as Junior Missionary Volunteer (JMV). He got invested in Busy Bee Class in 1973. He worked hard, leaving no stone unturned and was invested as a Master Guide in 1983.    

From the age of 17 Johnny became a church youth leader. He has since then held leadership positions at every level of the youth ministries. He has also undertaken and passed through almost all the practical trainings available in the Ministries. Among many others he was taught and mentored in the youth ministries by Master Guide Alozie Imo and Pastor N. J. Enang. He served as the Conference Youth Director of Enugu-Ebonyi Conference Nigeria from 2012 – 2013 and Ebonyi Conference Youth Director from 2013 – 2018. Johnny was elected Youth Ministries Director Eastern Nigeria Union Conference in December 2018.

Johnny loves the Adventist Youth Ministries. He enjoys her programs. He has a passion to work with the young people. His ultimate aim is to be prepared as well as prepare the Young People for the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

PASTOR ABIODUN OLAOYE

Western Nigeria Union Conference Youth Director

Pastor Abiodun Olaoye has served as the church’s leader for more than 20 years. He also has a strong love for the church’s youth and young adults. He received his education at the Adventist University of Africa in Nairobi, Kenya, and Andrew University in Michigan, USA. His doctoral studies in youth and adult ministry at the Adventist University of Africa are almost complete (AUA).

Pastor Abiodun Olaoye currently serves at the Western Nigeria Union Conference, Maryland, Lagos State, Nigeria. With a deep passion for youth ministry, Pastor Olaoye has dedicated his life to mentoring, coaching, and empowering young people within the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Over the years, he has held numerous leadership positions, including Pathfinder Director at both the local church and union levels. He has also served as Area Coordinator for Ogun State, as well as Youth Director and Chaplaincy Director for the Ogun Conference. Through these roles, Pastor Olaoye has inspired countless youths, fostering their spiritual growth and leadership development.

His mission is to nurture youth leaders capable of effectively guiding Adventurers, Pathfinders, Ambassadors, and Young Adults, leading them closer to Jesus through exemplary leadership and service.

 

Pastor Olaoye is widely respected as a mentor, coach, and role model. Outside of ministry, he enjoys playing football, table tennis, badminton, and watching edifying movies. Abiodun is currently employed as a high school mentor for teenagers in Ede, Osun State, Nigeria. Football, table tennis, travel, and reading about how he may best help young people are some of his other passions.

PASTOR NDONGO JOSEPH AIME

North-East Cameroon Union Mission Youth Director

Pastor Ndongo Joseph Aimé is a dedicated servant of God and a passionate leader in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. With a strong educational foundation in theology and a commitment to lifelong learning, he serves as the Youth Director at the North East Cameroon Union Mission

Pastor Ndongo Joseph Aimé holds a degree in Theology from Cosendaï University Nanga Eboko,  He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Chaplaincy from the Adventist University of Africa in Nairobi, Kenya, further equipping him for effective ministry and mission.

Family
Pastor Joseph’Aimé is blessed with a loving family. He is married and has three  children,

Ministry and Service
Pastor Joseph-Aimé has been involved in the movement since the age of three. He has completed all the required courses in youth ministries and has held various positions ranging from the local society to the Union Mission today.

As an ordained pastor, he served for eight years as a district leader and youth leader before being called to serve as Director in the East Cameroon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, until November 2024, when he was appointed Director of Youth Ministries, Chaplaincy, and Public Campuses in the Northeast Cameroon Union Mission.

His primary passion is youth leadership, along with evangelism and music.

PASTOR DR. JOHN OSWARD BAYSAH

West Africa Union Mission Youth Director

Pastor Dr. John Osward Baysah is a Liberian and an ordained minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He began his ministerial journey in 2003 at Babcock University, Nigeria, where he served as a Hall Administrator and Assistant Pastor. During his time at Babcock, he devoted himself to youth ministry, working closely with young people in various capacities.

In 2010, he was called to return to Liberia to continue his ministerial service. In November of that year, he was elected as the Youth Ministries Director of the West Africa Union Mission, a position he holds to date. Over the years, his leadership responsibilities have expanded significantly. He currently serves as the Executive Secretary of the West Africa Union Mission, and as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Theology at the Adventist University of West Africa. Throughout his tenure with the Union, Dr. Baysah has also served in multiple departmental roles, including Ministerial Secretary, Sabbath School & Personal Ministries Director, Family Life Director.

Dr. Baysah is well-educated, holding multiple academic and professional degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Theology (with a minor in Business Administration) – Andrews University, 2001, Master of Public Administration – Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria, 2005, Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology – Adventist University of Africa, 2009, Ph.D. in Christian Counseling – Newburgh Theological Seminary, 2014, Doctor of Ministry (Youth & Young Adults emphasis) – Adventist University of Africa, 2024.

He is married to Professor Glory I. Baysah, and they are blessed with three children: Shelley, Gloward, and John. Since 2002, Dr. Baysah has ministered to young people across Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, and Guinea. His passion is centered on nurturing youth to build a deep relationship with Jesus Christ and preparing them for His soon return. He remains a dedicated advocate for youth spiritual development and leadership empowerment within the church.

PASTOR LAMBERT OWUSU BOAKYE

North-Central Ghana Union Mission Youth Director

Pr Lambert Owusu Boakye of North-Central Ghana Union Mission. Born on 18th September, 1972 at Kofiase in the Ashanti region of Ghana. I am married to Sarah and we are blessed with four lovely kids, a girl and three boys. I had my BA in Theology at Valley View University in Ghana in the year 2000 and MA in Leadership at Adventist University of African, Kenya in 1918. I joined the ministry on 1st January, 2001. 

For the past twenty five year, I have served in the capacity of Church Pastor, district Pastor, Chaplaincy Director, Health ministries Director, Youth Director, a Military Chaplain with the Ghana Armed Forces, a Conference Executive Secretary, and now a Union Youth Director. I’m married to Sarah with four kids, a girl and three boys.
